Dr. Laura Geige
Dr. Laura Geige is a distinguished physician renowned for her expertise in neurology and her dedication to improving the lives of her patients. Born and raised in the bustling city of New York, Dr. Geige exhibited an early passion for science and medicine. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where she excelled academically and was actively involved in research projects exploring the complexities of the human brain.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Geige continued her education at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree with honors. During her time at Johns Hopkins, she developed a keen interest in neurology, particularly in the fields of cognitive neuroscience and neurodegenerative diseases.
Following medical school, Dr. Geige embarked on a rigorous residency program in neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she received comprehensive training in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological disorders. Her dedication and passion for her work were evident as she quickly emerged as a leader among her peers.
After completing her residency, Dr. Geige pursued fellowship training in neurology specializing in movement disorders at the renowned University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Center. Upon completing her fellowship, Dr. Geige returned to New York City, where she joined the faculty at Columbia University Irving Medical Center as an Assistant Professor of Neurology.
